In response to our conversation, I have taken the liberty of putting down on paper, exactly what it is that Financial Fitness has done for our organisation (Eskom).

 

Since the courses started running at Eskom, approximately 8,000 staff members have completed the course, which is run on a regular basis at the Leadership Development Centre.

Financial Fitness Training

 

Dear Joe,

 

In August GlaxoSmithKline announced the closure of their Midrand Factory which resulted in just over 200 manufacturing employees being retrenched with closure being in December. Many of the staff have been with the company for as long as 8 to 25 years.The retrenchment packages offered were very generous with much of the staff not having the correct knowledge around finances. As a result management were nervous about staff not investing/using their packages wisely. The decision was then made to train the staff to equip them in advance for when they received their retrenchment packages.

 

After receiving a number of other proposals to do the training, Colleen Mclintock recommended we contact Financial Fitness, which we did. We were very impressed with the proposal as the training you offered included one-on-one consultations with the individuals, which was an added bonus compared to what the other Financial companies were offering.

 

Not only have you given our staff the training and consultation – but offered your extensive notes, videos, and cassette tapes.
